WORLD'S CLEANEST SHIP CONTENDER: The Elizabeth Swann is the subject of a re-think as to ways of reducing reliance on plastics, so reducing the anthropogenic effect of human transport on water. She is designed to be built of 5083 marine alloy.

1. Least single use plastic packaging in an ocean cruiser 2. Least plastic used in construction 3. Best recycling scheme for unavoidable plastics used onboard
Is this ship the cleanest vessel in the world?
GRP boats are now seen as extremely damaging to the environment, during manufacture, repair and end of life disposal. As they disintegrate they shed glass strands, microplastics and chemical contaminants. The problem being those illegally dumped.
